ABOUT US

Welcome. We’re Anthony and Barbra, a husband-and-wife team whose goal is to share the power of God’s grace through story.

Grace Gets the Last Word began when we felt a stirring from God to share the story of how He brought us together. Later, in our church small group, we sat around a large table with friends and listened as each person told their life story. One by one, people opened up about what God had done for them. It was powerful and encouraging, and we walked away with a spark in our hearts. We realized this wasn’t just about us. It was about something so much bigger, something that goes back thousands of years. The name Grace Gets the Last Word came during a time of prayer, and it continues to remind us that no matter what we face, God’s grace has the final say.

Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need. (Hebrews 4:16)

From the very beginning, God has used stories to teach, to comfort, and to reveal His truth. The Bible is filled with real people whose lives, struggles, and victories point us back to His faithfulness. When we share what God has done for us, whether big or small, it can ignite hope in someone else who needs it most.

That is what Grace Gets the Last Word is all about. It is more than just a place to tell our own story. It is a place to share the stories of others, past and present, that inspire, encourage, and always point us back to Jesus and the truth of God’s word. We would love to hear your stories as well. Our prayer is that whatever you are facing, you will find hope and healing in Him.

We will not hide them from their children, telling to the generation to come the praises of the Lord, and His strength and His wonderful works that He has done. (Psalm 78:4)

Let the redeemed of the Lord say so, whom He has redeemed from the hand of the enemy. (Psalm 107:2)

“Return to your own house and tell what great things God has done for you.” (Luke 8:39)

Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort those who are in any trouble, with the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God.  (2 Corinthians 1:3-4)
