Few things hurt worse than being rejected. I know, I’ve been there. Here are some scriptures to comfort you if you’ve been hurt by the pain of rejection. I’ll be adding to this list as time goes by. All of these are NIV translation.

Psalm 27:10

Though my father and mother forsake me, the Lord will receive me.

Psalm 34:17-20

The righteous cry out, and the Lord hears them; he delivers them from all their troubles. The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit. A righteous man may have many troubles, but the Lord delivers him from them all; he protects all his bones, not one of them will be broken.

1 John 3:1

How great is the love the Father has lavished on us, that we should be called the children of God! And that is what we are! The reason the world does not know us is that it did not know him.

Romans 8:38-39

For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels, nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
